New to essential oils?
Essential oils are aromatic, concentrated plant extracts that are carefully obtained through steam distillation, cold pressing, or resin tapping.
There are 4 types of EO’s on earth:
Grade A – Therapeutic – only oils where there are no pesticides used!
Grade B – Food grade
Grade C– Perfume oils
Grade D– Floral water – isn’t actually oil, the oil is removed
It’s so important to use only grade A oils because of the quality, concentration, and lack of pesticides in the bottle. You’d be better off using a homeopathic, like herbs than a cheap oil. Make sure you use 100% pure therapeutic grade oils, free from any additives, adulterants, fillers, synthetics, or dilutions. Young Living, DoTerra, and Revive oils are all good ones.
My family and I use oils every single day and they have truly made a difference in our lives. We use them topically, ingest them, and I clean my house with them. I do this because it’s so important to health and longevity to live chemical free. Getting our homes chemical free is a process, but a critical one because these toxins build up in our body and eventually wreak havoc on our immune system and organs. We simply have to be intentional about what we bring into our homes. Just because it’s on the shelf at the store, does not mean it’s a clean product. The majority of products out there, have endocrine disruptors and/ or are carcinogens.
Essential oils have been around since around 4500 BC. They have good medicinal applications and are used in the treatment of diseases including the infectious diseases, depression, anxiety, act as an antifungal, antimicrobial, anticancer, and wound healing. They are also used in cosmetics and other hair, skin, and oral care products.
